Episode 105
This week, Aaron highlights music from a blues-based band from Yankton Sioux Reservation in South Dakota and Brent spotlights a blues group from Kentucky that is fronted by a local radio and television personality.
Originally started in the late 90s by Mato Nanji along with his brother, sister and cousin before eventually continuing the group on his own, Aaron looks at three songs from the band Indigenous.
Formed in the early 90s by singer “Fast Layne” Hendrickson before turning over frontman duties to a skilled blues guitarist, singer, and … meteorologist, Brent highlights three songs from Paducah’s Lew Jetton & 61 South.
