This week, Aaron and Brent return to one of their favorite topics: Soundtracks.
With two previous episodes dedicated to the topic, Episodes 13 and 88, this time around Brent goes with a traditional movie soundtrack release while Aaron picks out music from a popular video game series.
Featuring music composed by Bear McCreary, Aaron highlights three tracks from the original soundtrack to 2022’s God of War Ragnarök including the title track “God of War Ragnarök” featuring Eivør, “Raeb’s Lament“, and “Blood Upon the Snow” featuring Hozier.
Coming from an album that showcased one of the first full length collaborations between rap and rock, Brent picks out three songs from 1993’s Judgement Night soundtrack including “Just Another Victim” from Helmet & House Of Pain, “Freak Momma'” from Mudhoney & Sir Mix-A-Lot, and “Fallin'” from Teenage Fanclub & De La Soul.
